Establish and Maintain Internal Controls. The CNA shall establish the necessary internal controls in accordance with other laws, regulations, and guidance governing nonprofit institutions as well as to satisfy the requirements under the JWOD Act, 41 U.S.C. Chapter 85 and implementing regulations, 41 C.F.R. Chapter 51. The CNA shall assess and evaluate its internal controls to ensure that the controls are effective and updated when necessary to successfully carry out its responsibilities and avoid potential for waste, fraud, or abuse.
