EVENING ACTIVITIES. Principals may schedule a maximum of one (1) evening open house which the teachers are expected to attend. Principals may schedule additional evening building activities to which teacher will be invited but not required to attend, providing that the principal will confer with Association Representative(s) before scheduling these meetings. Such activities shall not be scheduled for more than 2½ hours in length. These activities do not include parent- teacher conferences or the West Ottawa Showcase event as provided in the calendar.
EVENING ACTIVITIES. Those members who are required to return for an evening meeting, or activity may leave school upon student dismissal.
EVENING ACTIVITIES. 15 A. All teachers shall attend the Back-to-School Night and/or Open House at 16 their respective schools. The site administrator may substitute another 17 evening activity for either Back-to-School Night or Open House, (i.e. 18 graduation). Teachers volunteering for sponsorship of pupil organizations 19 shall be exempted from evening activities other than those assignments 20 listed above. Other evening and/or afternoon supervisory activities shall 21 be voluntary unless there is not a sufficient number of volunteers, in 22 which case the District, or site administrator, shall make required 23 assignments; in making such assignments, every effort shall be made to 24 do so on the basis of an equitable rotation. 1 Adjunctive Duties 2 B. Adjunctive duties are defined as supervisions which are outside the 3 regular work day or during an employee’s non work time. Adjunctive 4 duties would not include responsibilities for which an employee is elected 5 or covered under professional duties. In assigning adjunctive duties, the 6 District, or site administrator, shall make every effort to do so equitably.
EVENING ACTIVITIES. In some instances, activities other than direct student instruction are requisite to the operation of the regular school program. Guidelines for teacher involvement beyond the school day include the following: 1. Teachers must be used in an active role to carry out the activity. 2. Teachers will be involved in planning the activity. 3. Teachers will have an opportunity to volunteer for participation. 4. If there are not enough volunteers for activities and the activities are not specific to a teacher's particular job assignment, teachers will be assigned to that activity based on reverse seniority and on a balanced assignment concept. Teachers will have the ability to arrange with another teacher to fulfill the assignment. Illustrative of these activities are the following:

If there are not sufficient numbers of volunteers, the 5 administration shall make required assignments. All activities beyond those cited above shall be considered 6 supervisory and paid at the rate of Appendix III, Section A.6. 7 The site administrator shall meet with his/her staff, or with staff representatives for the purpose of consultation 8 on the number and type of extracurricular events to occur during the year unless an emergency precludes such 9 notification, any change in the event calendar shall be made thirty (30) days in advance of the event. The site 10 administrator will then determine the number of persons necessary to supervise each event.

EVENING ACTIVITIES. The music teacher shall participate in the Winter Concert, Spring Concert and 8th grade graduation evening programs. All teachers except the 8th grade advisors may be assigned to supervise either the Winter Concert or the Spring Concert. Eighth grade advisors shall be assigned to supervise the 8th grade graduation evening program. Failure to participate shall result in the loss of a paid sick day unless the teacher is absent from school due to a legitimate reason. No concerts shall be scheduled for Friday evenings. The Kindergarten Teacher shall attend Back to School Night, Conference Nights and one additional evening activity.

  • Marketing Activities The Borrower will not, and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to, engage in marketing activities for any Hydrocarbons or enter into any contracts related thereto other than (i) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from their proved Oil and Gas Properties during the period of such contract, (ii) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from proved Oil and Gas Properties of third parties during the period of such contract associated with the Oil and Gas Properties of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries that the Borrower or one of its Subsidiaries has the right to market pursuant to joint operating agreements, unitization agreements or other similar contracts that are usual and customary in the oil and gas business and (iii) other contracts for the purchase and/or sale of Hydrocarbons of third parties (A) which have generally offsetting provisions (i.e. corresponding pricing mechanics, delivery dates and points and volumes) such that no “position” is taken and (B) for which appropriate credit support has been taken to alleviate the material credit risks of the counterparty thereto.

  • Monitoring Activities The Cheyenne MPO shall have the right to monitor all activities related to this Agreement that are performed by the Consultant or its sub-consultants. This shall include, but not be limited to, the right to make site inspections at any time and with reasonable notice; to bring experts and consultants on site to examine or evaluate completed work or work in progress; to examine the books, ledgers, documents, papers, and records pertinent to this Agreement; and to observe personnel in every phase of performance of the related work.
