Common use of Evidence/Research-Based Practices Clause in Contracts

Evidence/Research-Based Practices. The Contractor will participate with Great Rivers to increase the use of Evidence/Research-Based Practices, with a particular focus on increasing these practices for children and youth receiving behavioral health treatment services as identified through legislative mandates. This may include: 9.9.1. Participation in DBHR sponsored training for research-based or evidence-based practices. The Contractor is expected to maintain a workforce trained in TF-CBT/CBT+ sufficient to implement the practice within the Contractor’s Service Area, as applicable. 9.9.2. At a minimum, 28 percent of the children/Youth enrolled in mental health treatment services will receive an Evidence-/Research-Based Practice. 9.9.3. The Contractor shall track evidence-based and research-based practices identified by the Washington State Institute of Public Policy (WSIPP) and report the services as specified in DBHR’s Service Encounter Reporting Instructions (SERI). 9.9.4. The Contractor shall participate in Great Rivers practice guidelines as applicable to this Agreement’s Statement of Work.
