Common use of Examination of Transaction Records Clause in Contracts

Examination of Transaction Records. The CO, the District of Columbia’s Inspector General and the District of Columbia’s Auditor, VEIC, or any of their duly authorized representatives, will have access to and the right to examine any of Subcontractor’s directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this Subcontract or a subcontract hereunder. This paragraph may not be construed to require Subcontractor or its subcontractors to create or maintain any record that Subcontractor does not maintain in the ordinary course of business or pursuant to a provision of law.
