Common use of Except for paragraphs 22 Clause in Contracts

Except for paragraphs 22. 5 and 22.7, all matters relating to the rights and obligations of the Employer and Union member as set forth herein shall be subject to the grievance procedures set forth in Article 9 of this Agreement. Matters regarding occurrences which follows the Employer’s deposit of its portion of the deductible and deposit of the Union member’s authorized pay deductions, if any, are beyond the control of the Employer, and therefore are not amenable to the grievance procedure.
