Common use of Executive’s Right to Terminate for Convenience Clause in Contracts

Executive’s Right to Terminate for Convenience. Regardless of any unexpired Term, and in addition to Executive’s right to terminate Executive’s employment for Good Reason, Executive shall have the right to terminate Executive’s employment with the Employer for convenience at any time and for any other reason, or no reason at all, upon thirty (30) days’ advance written notice to the Employer; provided, however, that if Executive has provided notice to the Employer of Executive’s termination of employment, the Employer may determine, in its sole discretion, that such termination shall be effective on any date prior to the effective date of termination provided in such notice (and, if such earlier date is so required, then it shall not change the basis for Executive’s termination of employment nor be construed or interpreted as a termination of employment pursuant to Section 6(b)). Any termination prior to the end of the notice period provided by Executive shall be fully compensated to the end of the notice given.
