Common use of Expenditure Limit Clause in Contracts

Expenditure Limit. CONTRACTOR shall notify COUNTY Project Coordinator in writing when expenditures against CONTRACT reach 75% of the dollar limit on the CONTRACT. COUNTY will not be responsible for any expenditure overruns and will not pay for work exceeding the dollar limit on the CONTRACT unless an amendment to cover those costs has been issued.
