Experience Credit a. For the purpose of this article, a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) shall be credited with one (1) day of experience for each full-time equivalent day worked.

Experience Credit. An employee who returns from child care/adoption leave within the provisions of this Section will retain all previous experience credit for pay purposes and any unused leave time accumulated under the provisions of this Article at the commencement of the leave. An employee who resigns in good standing or is laid off, if re-employed within two (2) years from the effective date of such resignation or layoff, shall be granted experience credit on the salary schedule for all previous experience granted, as an ESP employee, but shall not be granted credit on the salary schedule for time not worked by virtue of layoff or resignation.
Experience Credit. 23.3.1 Credit will be given for teaching experience outside this District. When determining salary, incoming teachers shall not receive a salary greater than an in-district teacher with commensurate experience and education.
23.3.2 When a particular teaching position carries with it the requirement of outside experience of working in that particular field (i.e., for certain vocational positions), such experience shall be computed on the same basis as outside teaching experience. For purposes of figuring, 2,000 hours shall be considered as one year of work experience. Written proof of such outside work experience shall be required from the employer. Only experience in excess of the number of hours required shall be credited for placement in the salary ranges.
Experience Credit. Classified personnel having served one day over half their work year in Okeechobee County during the preceding school year and who received a satisfactory rating on their evaluation shall be eligible to be granted one (1) step on the salary schedule.
