Common use of Expiration and Earlier Termination Clause in Contracts

Expiration and Earlier Termination. Executive's Term of employment shall terminate upon expiration of the Term and shall be subject to earlier termination: (i) upon the death of Executive; (ii) at the election of the Company in the event of Executive's Disability (as provided in Section 7(a) hereof); (iii) upon discharge of Executive by the Company for Cause; and (iv) upon discharge of Executive without Cause or resignation of Executive.

Executive's ’s Term of employment shall terminate upon expiration of the Term (which shall include any extensions under Section 3) and shall be subject to earlier termination: (i) upon the death of Executive; (ii) at the election of the Company GTECH in the event of Executive's ’s Disability (as provided in Section 7(a) hereof); (iii) upon discharge of Executive by the Company GTECH for Cause; and; (iv) upon discharge of Executive without Cause or upon resignation of Executive with or without Good Reason; and (v) upon the Retirement of Executive.
