Common use of Expiration of the Employment Period Clause in Contracts

Expiration of the Employment Period. Subject to Section 4(e) below, if Executive’s employment shall be terminated by reason of the expiration of the Employment Period (and not for Cause), then the Company will provide Executive with the Accrued Obligations and will pay Executive an amount equal to the greater of (a) Executive’s Annual Base Salary and (b) amounts due under applicable laws (the “Expiration Payment”). The Expiration Payment shall be made in a lump sum on the date that is sixty (60) calendar days following the expiration of the Employment Period.
