EXPLANATION OF WORDS USED. 1.1. In this Agreement the following terms shall, except so far as the context otherwise requires, have the following meanings: FOS The Financial Ombudsman Service Lender The relevant bank, credit card provider or other financial institution. Materials or work described in words that, so applied, have a well-known technical or trade meaning shall be held to refer to such recognized meaning.
