Exploration and Appraisal. (A) Within sixty (60) Days after the Effective Date and thereafter on or before1st Day of October of each Calendar Year, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed for the remainder of the current Calendar Year and, if appropriate, for the following Calendar Year. Within thirty (30) Days after such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor to agree on a Work Program and Budget. (B) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract and shall as soon as possible submit to the Parties a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator within thirty (30) Days shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen (15) Days after such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the Contract, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract to secure approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget by the Government. In the event the Government requires changes in the appraisal Work Program and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further consideration. (C) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article shall include at least that part of the Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Year in question under the terms of the Contract. If within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 the Operating Committee is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. If competing proposals receive equal votes, then Operator shall choose between those competing proposals. Any portion of a Work Program and Budget adopted pursuant to this Article 6.1(D) instead of Article 5.9 shall contain only such operations for the Joint Account as are necessary to maintain the Contract in full force and effect, including such operations as are necessary to fulfill the Minimum Work Obligations required for the given Calendar Year. (D) Any approved Work Program and Budget may be revised by the Operating Committee from time to time. To the extent such revisions are approved by the Operating Committee, the Work Program and Budget shall be amended accordingly. Operator shall prepare and submit a corresponding Work Program and Budget amendment to the Government if required by the Contract. (E) Subject to Article 6.8, approval of any such Work Program and Budget which includes: (1) an Exploration Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Exploration Well (2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Appraisal Well. (F) Any Party desiring to propose an alternative to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant to Article 6.1(E) must do so within the time period provided in Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Parties. If the Operating Committee Operations Management Board determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator within thirty (30) Days ninety Days, shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen thirty (1530) Days after of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the Contract, the Operating Committee Operations Management Board shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating CommitteeOperations Management Board, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract to secure security approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget by the GovernmentState. In the event the Government State requires changes in the appraisal Work Program and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee Operations Management Board for further consideration.
(Cd) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article Clause 6.1 shall include the Minimum Work Obligations, or at least that part of the such Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Year in question under the terms of the Contract. If within the time periods prescribed in this Article Clause 6.1 the Operating Committee Operations Management Board is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article Clause 5.9) shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. The Operator shall prepare and submit a corresponding Work Program work program and Budget budget amendment to the Government State if required by the terms of the Contract.
(Ef) Subject to Article 6.8Clause 6.7, approval of any such Work Program and Budget Budget, which includes:
(1i) an Exploration Well, whether by Drilling or Sidetracking, shall (except where Minimum Work Obligations require Testing of a well) include approval for only expenditures necessary for the drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, SidetrackingSidetracking of such well, as applicable, and Testing and Completing . When an Exploration WellWell has reached its authorised depth, all logs, cores and other approved Tests have been conducted and the results furnished to the Parties, Operator shall submit to the Parties in accordance with Clause 5.12(a)(i) an election to participate in an attempt to Complete such well. Operator shall include in such submission Operator’s recommendation on such Completion attempt and an AFE for such Completion costs.
(2ii) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, Sidetracking shall (except where Minimum Work Obligations require Testing of a well) include approval for all only expenditures necessary for the drilling, Deepening, SidetrackingDeepening or Sidetracking of such well, as applicable, and Testing and Completing . When an Appraisal WellWell has reached its authorised depth, all logs, cores and other approved Tests have been conducted and the results furnished to the Parties, Operator shall submit to the Parties in accordance with Clause 5.12(a)(i) an election to participate in an attempt to Complete such well. (h) If the Parties agree that Kosmos will perform certain geological and geophysical work in relation to specific exploration related Joint Operations, Kosmos may, subject to any conditions or limitations agreed by the Parties, dedicate its technical resources to perform such work and accordingly issue a properly prepared and substantiated invoice to the Operator, which invoice will be paid by the Operator from the Joint Account.

(1) an Exploration Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, become the approved Work Program and Testing and Completing an Exploration Well
(2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Appraisal WellBudget upon receipt of the requisite approvals under the Lease.
(Fe) Any Party desiring to propose a Completion attempt, or an alternative to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant to Article 6.1(E) Completion attempt, must do so within the time period provided in Article 5.12(A)(16.12(a)(i) by notifying all other Parties. (FG) Any Party desiring to propose a Completion attempt, or an alternative to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant to Article 6.1(E) Completion attempt, must do so within the time period provided in Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Parties. (A) Within sixty (60) Days Immediately after the Effective Date and thereafter on or before1st Day date of October execution of each Calendar Yearthis Agreement, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed in the Concession Area for the remainder of the current Calendar Financial Year and, if appropriate, for and the following Calendar next ensuing Financial Year. Within thirty fifteen (3015) Days after of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor endeavour to agree on a Work Program and Budget.
B) At least sixty (B60) Days prior to the applicable deadline under Article IV(c) of the Concession or such other deadline as may be agreed to by EGPC, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed in the Concession Area for the following Financial Year. Within thirty (30) Days of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavour to agree on a Work Program and Budget. Upon receipt of Operating Committee approval, such Work Program and Budget shall be submitted to the Exploration Advisory Committee as required by the Concession. The Operating Committee shall further meet and consider any revisions to the Work Program and Budget recommended by the Exploration Advisory Committee and make any such revisions as may be agreeable prior to submission to the EGPC.
C) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract Concession and shall as soon as possible or within such time period as directed by the Operating Committee, submit to the Parties a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s 's recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator Operator, within thirty ninety (3090) Days Days, shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen thirty (1530) Days after of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the ContractConcession, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract Concession to secure approval of the
D) In addition to the appraisal Work Program requirements of Article 6.1(C), if a Discovery is made and Budget by the Government. In drilling of a Mandatory Appraisal Well or Xxxxx is required under the event Concession in order to obtain a Development Lease in respect of the Government requires changes in the appraisal Work Program and BudgetDiscovery , the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further considerationshall consider the drilling of the Mandatory Appraisal Well(s). Each of the Parties shall have the right not to participate in the drilling of such Mandatory Appraisal Well in which case the provisions of Article VII (and Article 7.4(C) in particular) shall apply.
(CE) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article shall include the Minimum Work Obligations, or at least that part of the such Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Financial Year in question under the terms of the ContractConcession. If If, within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 Article, the Operating Committee is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Financial Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. If competing proposals receive equal votes, then Operator shall choose between those competing proposals. Any portion of a Work Program and Budget adopted pursuant to this Article 6.1(D) Article, instead of Article 5.9 shall contain include only such operations for the Joint Account as are reasonably necessary to maintain the Contract Concession in full force and effect, including such operations as are necessary to fulfill the Minimum Work Obligations required for the given Calendar Financial Year.
(D) Any approved Work Program and Budget may be revised by the Operating Committee from time to time. To the extent such revisions are approved by the Operating Committee, the Work Program and Budget shall be amended accordingly. Operator shall prepare and submit a corresponding Work Program and Budget amendment to the Government if required by the Contract.
(EF) Subject to Article 6.86.7, approval of any such Work Program and Budget Budget, which includes:
(1) includes an Exploration Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Exploration Well
(2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all only expenditures necessary for the drilling, Deepening, or Sidetracking, of such well, as applicable. When an Exploration Well or Appraisal Well has reached its authorized depth, all logs, cores and Testing other approved Tests have been conducted and Completing an Appraisal Well.
(F) Any Party desiring to propose an alternative the results furnished to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant Parties, Operator shall submit to Article 6.1(E) must do so within the time period provided Parties in accordance with Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Partiesan election to participate in an attempt to Complete or perform additional downhole operations for such well. Any such proposal Operator shall include in such submission Operator's recommendation on such Completion attempt and an AFE for such Completion costs. In the event that less than all of the Parties elect to participate in such Completion, the Completion may proceed as an Exclusive Operation under Article VII. Exploration and Appraisal. (A) Within sixty (60) Days after 9.1.1 The initial exploration Program shall be the Effective Date work to be undertaken by AME pursuant to clause 4.5 of the Farm-In and thereafter Participation Agreement, dated November 14, 2002. The initial Exploration Well, the Karakilise-1, was completed on September 13, 2003, and application has been made by Operator to the Government to classify such well as a Discovery. It is currently proposed that the Karakilise-2 be drilled as an Appraisal Well, spudding to commence no later than March 13, 2004, and Karakilise-3, to be drilling as an Appraisal Well, spudding to be no later than September 13, 2004, subject to approval of the Operating Committee as to final spud dates, AFE, Turnkey terms and locations for each well. The provisions of this Section 9 shall not apply to the Karakilise-1 well, but shall be applied to all wells drilled hereafter in the License Area.
9.1.2 On or before1st xxxxre the 15th Day of October November of each Calendar Year, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed for the remainder of the current Calendar Year and, if appropriate, for the following Calendar Year, except for 2004 the Program and Budget shall be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the execution of this Agreement. Within thirty (30) Days after days of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor to agree on a Work Program and Budget.

(B) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract Lease Agreement and shall as soon as possible submit to the Parties a report containing available details in a new proposal (“Proposal”) concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee Operator determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator within thirty (30) Days Days, shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. (D) Any approved Work Program and Budget may be revised by the Operating Committee from time to time. To the extent such revisions are approved by the Operating Committee, the Work Program and Budget shall be amended accordingly. Operator shall prepare and submit a corresponding Work Program and Budget amendment to the Government if required by the Contract.
(E) Subject to Article 6.86.7, approval of any such Work Program and Budget Budget, which includes:
(1) an Exploration Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an such Exploration Well.
(2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an such Appraisal Well.
(F) Any Party desiring to propose a Completion attempt, or an alternative to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant to Article 6.1(E) Completion attempt, must do so within the time period provided in Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Parties. Exploration and Appraisal. Until approved the terms of such Work Programme and Budget shall not be binding on the Parties. Within thirty (30) Days of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and endeavour to approve a Work Programme and Budget. The final, revised Work Programme and Budget shall be submitted no later than the first (1st) day of October of each Calendar Year to allow for approval in the fourth (4th) quarter of the respective Calendar Year.
(C) If a Discovery is made, the Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract Licence and shall as soon as possible submit to the Parties a report containing all available details concerning the Discovery and the Operator’s recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. appraisal or assessment as follows:
(1) If the Operating Committee determines that the Discovery of Crude Oil merits appraisal, the Operator within thirty twenty (3020) Days shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program Programme and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen ten (1510) Days after of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the ContractLicence, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program Programme and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program Programme and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, the Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Licence to secure approval of the appraisal Work Programme and Budget by the Minister. In the event the Minister requires changes in the appraisal Work Programme and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further consideration.
(2) If the Operating Committee determines that a Discovery of Natural Gas has commercial potential which requires assessment it shall, within thirty (30) Days, deliver to the Parties an assessment plan for the assessment of a market in respect of such Natural Gas Discovery (an “Assessment Plan”) together with a corresponding Work Programme and Budget. Within thirty (30) Days of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the Licence, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the Assessment Plan together with the relevant Work Programme and Budget in respect of the Assessment Plan. If the Assessment Plan together with the relevant Work Programme and Budget in respect of the Assessment Plan is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract Licence to secure approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget Assessment Plan by the GovernmentMinister. In the event that the Government Minister requires changes in the appraisal Assessment Plan or the corresponding Work Program and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further consideration.
(C3) If the Operating Committee determines that a Discovery of Natural Gas merits appraisal, the Operator shall within sixty (60) Days of such determination, deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Programme and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Exploration and Appraisal. (A) Within The Work Program and Budget for the Initial Exploration Period is attached as Exhibit "C" to this Agreement and is hereby deemed to be approved by each Party upon execution of this Agreement by said Party. Alliance Operating Agreement - 20F
(B) At least sixty (60) Days after days prior to the Effective Date and thereafter on applicable deadline under Article IV(C) of the Concession Agreement or before1st Day of October of each Calendar Yearsuch other deadline as may be agreed to by EGPC, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed for the remainder of the current Calendar Year and, if appropriate, for the following Calendar Financial Year. Within thirty (30) Days after of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor to agree on a Work Program and Budget. Upon receipt of Operating Committee approval, such Work Program and Budget shall be submitted to the Exploration Advisory Committee as required by the Concession. The Operating Committee shall further meet and consider any revisions to the Work Program and Budget recommended by the Exploration Advisory Committee and make any such revisions as may be agreeable prior to submission to the EGPC.
(BC) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract Concession Agreement and shall as soon as possible submit to the Parties a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s 's recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator within thirty (30) Days Days, shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen (15) Days after of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the ContractConcession Agreement, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract Concession Agreement to secure approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget by the Government. (CD) In addition to the requirements of Article 6.l(C), if a Discovery is made and the drilling of a Mandatory Appraisal Well or Xxxxx is required under the Concession in order to obtain a Development Lease in respect of the Discovery, the Operating Committee shall consider the drilling of the Mandatory Appraisal Well(s). Each of the Parties shall have the right not to participate in the drilling of such Mandatory Appraisal Well in which case the provisions of Article VII (and Article 7.4(C) in particular) shall apply; provided, for the avoidance of doubt, a Mandatory Appraisal Well that also qualifies as an obligatory well under the Minimum Work Obligation for the then current Exploration Sub-period shall be drilled as a Joint Operation.
(E) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article 6.1 shall include the Minimum Work Obligations, or at least that part of the such Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Financial Year in question under the terms of the ContractConcession Agreement. If within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 the Operating Committee is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Financial Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. (2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all only expenditures necessary for the drilling, Deepening, or Sidetracking, of such well, as applicable. When an Exploration Well or Appraisal Well has reached its authorized depth, all logs, cores and Testing other approved Tests have been conducted and Completing the results furnished to the Parties, Operator shall submit to the Parties in accordance with Article 5.12(A)(1) an Appraisal Wellelection to participate in an attempt to Complete or perform additional downhole operations for such well. Operator shall include in such submission Operator's recommendation on such Completion attempt and an AFE for such Completion costs. In the event that less than all of the Parties elect to participate in such Completion, the Completion may proceed as an Exclusive Operation under Article VII. Any Party that gave notice of non-consent shall be a Non-Consenting Party as to such Exclusive Operation.
(FH) Any Party desiring to propose a Completion attempt, or an alternative to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant to Article 6.1(E) Completion attempt, must do so within the time period provided in Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Parties. Any such proposal shall include an AFE for such Completion costs.

(A) Within Not less than sixty (60) Days after days prior to each date on which a Work Program and Budget is scheduled to begin the Effective Date Operator will submit the planned Work Program and thereafter on or before1st Day Budget pursuant to clause 6.4 of October of each Calendar Yearthis Agreement, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed for the remainder of the current Calendar Year and, if appropriate, for the following relevant Calendar Year. Within thirty (30) Days after such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor to agree on a Work Program and Budget.
(B) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract Lease Agreement and shall as soon as possible submit to the Parties a report containing available details in a new proposal (“Proposal”) concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee Operator determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator within thirty (30) Days Days, shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen Discovery or additional proposal within fourteen (1514) Days after of such delivery, or earlier earlier, if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the Contractnecessary, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. (C) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article 6.1 shall include the Minimum Work Obligations, or at least that part of the such Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Year in question under the terms of the Contractthis Agreement. If within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 by the Operating Committee is Parties unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than approval the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) Operator may proceed forward and the Exclusive Operation shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. If competing proposals receive equal votes, then Operator of the new discovery proposal shall choose between those competing proposals. Any portion of a Work Program and Budget adopted pursuant be considered added to this Article 6.1(D) instead of Article 5.9 shall contain only such operations for the Joint Account as are necessary to maintain the Contract in full force and effect, including such operations as are necessary to fulfill the required Minimum Work Obligations required Obligation for the given Calendar Year, but maintain a separate Budget only to be paid for from the Operators account and the Project Account. An Exclusive new Operation shall bare Participating Interest share according to the in-kind contributor’s portion.
(D) Any originally approved Work Program and Budget may be revised by the Operating Committee Parties from time to time. To the extent such revisions are approved by the Operating CommitteeParties, the Work Program and Budget shall be amended accordingly. The Operator shall prepare and submit a corresponding Work Program work program and Budget budget amendment to the Government if required by the Contractterms of the Lease Agreement.
(E) Subject to Article 6.86.7, approval of any such Work Program and Budget Budget, which includes:
(1) , an Exploration WellExpenditures Estimate, whether by drillingDrilling, Deepening and testing, and or SidetrackingDevelopment or Deepening, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Exploration Well
(2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Appraisal WellExtraction Processes.

(C2) If the Operating Committee determines that a Discovery of Natural Gas has commercial potential which requires assessment it shall, within thirty (30) Days, deliver to the Parties an assessment plan for the assessment of a market in respect of such Natural Gas Discovery (an “Assessment Plan”) together with a corresponding Work Program and Budget. Within thirty (30) Days of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the Licence, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the Assessment Plan together with the relevant Work Program and Budget in respect of the Assessment Plan. If the Assessment Plan together with the relevant Work Program and Budget in respect of the Assessment Plan is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Licence to secure approval of the Assessment Plan by the Minister. In the event that the Minister requires changes in the Assessment Plan or the corresponding Work Program and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further consideration. On or before the first (1st) Day of June in each subsequent Calendar Year, Operator shall deliver to the Parties, for planning purposes only, an indicative proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed in respect of assessment of a Discovery of Natural Gas for the following period from 1st July to 31st December in that Calendar Year and the whole of the following Calendar Year. The terms of such Work Program and Budget shall not be binding on the Parties. On or before the first (1st) Day of October of each subsequent Calendar Year, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed in respect of assessment of a Discovery of Natural Gas. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Licence to secure approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget by the Minister. Within thirty (30) Days of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavour to agree on a Work Program and Budget. Upon receipt of Operating Committee approval, such Work Program and Budget shall be submitted to the Exploration Advisory Committee as required by the Concession. The Operating Committee shall further meet and consider any revisions to the Work Program and Budget recommended by the Exploration Advisory Committee and make any such revisions as may be agreeable prior to submission to the EGPC.
C) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract Concession and shall as soon as possible or within such time period as directed by the Operating Committee, submit to the Parties a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s 's recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator Operator, within thirty ninety (3090) Days Days, shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen thirty (1530) Days after of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the ContractConcession, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract Concession to secure approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget by the GovernmentEGPC. In the event the Government EGPC requires changes in the appraisal Work Program and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further consideration.
D) In addition to the requirements of Article 6.1(C), if a Discovery is made and the drilling of a Mandatory Appraisal Well or Xxxxx is required under the Concession in order to obtain a Development Lease in respect of the Discovery, the Operating Committee shall consider the drilling of the Mandatory Appraisal Well(s). Each of the Parties shall have the right not to participate in the drilling of such Mandatory Appraisal Well in which case the provisions of Article VII (Cand Article 7.4(C) in particular) shall apply.
E) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article shall include the Minimum Work Obligations, or at least that part of the such Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Financial Year in question under the terms of the ContractConcession. If If, within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 Article, the Operating Committee is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Financial Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. (F) Any Party desiring to propose an alternative the results furnished to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant Parties, Operator shall submit to Article 6.1(E) must do so within the time period provided Parties in accordance with Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Partiesan election to participate in an attempt to Complete or perform additional downhole operations for such well. Any such proposal Operator shall include in such submission Operator's recommendation on such Completion attempt and an AFE for such Completion costs. In the event that less than all of the Parties elect to participate in such Completion, the Completion may proceed as an Exclusive Operation under Article VII. Any Party that gave notice of non-consent shall be a Non-Consenting Party as to such Exclusive Operation.

Exploration and Appraisal. (A) Within sixty thirty (6030) Days after the Effective Date and thereafter on or before1st Day of October of each Calendar YearDate, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed for the remainder of the current Calendar Year and, if appropriate, for the following Calendar Year. If applicable, the Work Program and Budget will contain Operator's estimate of all applicable costs of plugging and abandoning wxxxx or portions of wxxxx and decommissioning facilities. Within thirty fifteen (3015) Days after of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor to agree on a Work Program and Budget.
(B) On or before the November 1 of each Calendar Year, Operator shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget detailing the Joint Operations to be performed for the following Calendar Year. Within thirty (30) Days of such delivery, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider and to endeavor to agree on a Work Program and Budget.
(C) If a Discovery is made, Operator shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Contract and shall as soon as possible submit to the Parties a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether the Discovery merits appraisal. If the Operating Committee Operator determines that the Discovery merits appraisal, Operator within thirty (30) Days shall deliver to the Parties a proposed Work Program and Budget for the appraisal of the Discovery. Within fifteen (15) Days after of such delivery, or earlier if necessary to meet any applicable deadline under the Contract, the Operating Committee shall meet to consider, modify and then either approve or reject the appraisal Work Program and Budget. If the appraisal Work Program and Budget is approved by the Operating Committee, Operator shall take such steps as may be required under the Contract to secure approval of the appraisal Work Program and Budget by the Government. In the event the Government requires changes in the appraisal Work Program and Budget, the matter shall be resubmitted to the Operating Committee for further consideration.
(CD) The Work Program and Budget agreed pursuant to this Article shall include at least that part of the Minimum Work Obligations required to be carried out during the Calendar Year in question under the terms of the Contract. If within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 the Operating Committee is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Year in question Program and Budget that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) 5.9 shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget. If competing proposals receive equal votes, then Operator shall choose between those competing proposals. Any portion of a Work Program and Budget adopted pursuant to this Article 6.1(D) instead of Article 5.9 shall contain only such operations for the Joint Account as are necessary to maintain the Contract in full force and effect, including such operations as are necessary to fulfill the Minimum Work Obligations required for the given Calendar Year.
(DE) Any approved Work Program and Budget may be revised by the Operating Committee from time to time; provided however that any such revision may not alter previously approved work that has been initiated by the Operator (including any material expenditure incurred by Operator in preparation to conduct such pre-approved work), absent the consent of the Operator in each instance. To the extent such revisions are approved by the Operating CommitteeCommittee and, if applicable, the Operator, the Work Program and Budget shall be amended accordingly. Operator shall prepare and submit a corresponding Work Program and Budget amendment to the Government if required by the Contract.
(EF) Subject to Article 6.8, approval of any such Work Program and Budget which includes:
(1) an Exploration Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Deepening or Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an Exploration Well.
(2) an Appraisal Well, whether by drilling, Deepening or Sidetracking, shall include approval for for: all expenditures necessary for drilling, Deepening, Deepening or Sidetracking, as applicable, and Testing and Completing an such Appraisal Well.
(F) Any Party desiring to propose an alternative to the Operator’s recommendation pursuant to Article 6.1(E) must do so within the time period provided in Article 5.12(A)(1) by notifying all other Parties. Any such proposal shall include an AFE for such costs.
