EXTENDING THE INITIAL TERM. 3.1 The University may extend the Contract beyond the Initial Term (an “Extended Term”) on one or more occasions by giving the Supplier at least 1 month's written notice of such intention before the expiry of the Initial Term (or then current Extended Term). 3.2 If the University gives a notice as referred to under clause 3.1, then the Term shall be extended by the period set out in the relevant notice. 3.3 Notwithstanding clause 3.1 and without prejudice to clause 27, in the absence of such a notification by the University and in the event that, following expiry of the Initial Term or then current Extended Term, the Supplier continues to supply the Goods or provide the Services without protest from the University and the University continues to pay the Charges, the Term shall be presumed to be extended for another Contract Year.
