Common use of Extension of Coverage under Previous Insurer Clause in Contracts

Extension of Coverage under Previous Insurer. When a group insurance policy covering the Employees eligible for the present insurance, in effect immediately before the coming into force of this policy includes an extension of coverage, any amount payable under a benefit of this policy shall be reduced by the amount of any payment of benefits that the previous insurer is liable to make under such extension of coverage respecting a similar benefit.
