Common use of Exterior Gas Line Clause in Contracts

Exterior Gas Line. What is covered? Your broken or leaking primary natural gas line from Your utility's responsibility, up to the external wall of Your Home, and including the natural gas appliance connectors located on Your Property, or primary propane gas line from the external propane tank outlet connection, up to and including the propane appliance connectors located on Your Property; extension gas lines exiting Your Home, up to and including the appliance connectors. What is not covered? Meter moves or replacements, except when required by local code and directly related to Covered Repairs; appliances, fixtures, or pressure regulating devices; gas lines not supplied by a utility; appliance regulators; pipes, fittings, and materials more than 2 inches in diameter; Service Calls made for propane equipment when it is found that the root cause is a no-gas situation.
