External Experience Credit. 39.7.1 Employees who are hired directly into, or within one year of their ECD are appointed to, jobs on or after new plan date will receive external experience credits as follows: • Band C – 2 years vacation credit • Band B – 4 years vacation credit • Band A – 6 years vacation credit
External Experience Credit. ‌ Employees represented by the Society before January 1, 2015 maintain their existing External Experience Credit. The remainder of this Section applies to employees who become represented by the Society effective January 1, 2015: Employees who were or are hired directly into, or within one year of their ECD were, or are, appointed to a Society-represented position will receive the following vacation credits for external experience, applicable to four, five, and six weeksvacation entitlement. External Experience Credits are based upon the highest salary grade attained within one year of the employee’s ECD date and are translated into an External Experience Value (EEV).
