EXTERNAL WORKS. Amount 1 Demolish and cart away single storey toilet block complete, size on plan 6000mm long x 2000mm wide x approximately 3000mm high, comprised of corrugated iron roof covering on mono-pitch timber rafters, with concrete block walls including timber doors, ground floor concrete surface bed with granolithic floor covering, sanitary fittings, etc. including grubbing up foundations and backfilling holes with material from the stockpiles on site. No 1 Pit toilets 2 Allow for de-sludging of existing "long drop" pit latrines by means of "honey sucker". The pit latrines are to be completely empty before any other work is carried out. No 3 3 Allow for breaking down and removing from site entire pit latrine structure including any structure that may be inside the pit. Demolition is to only commence once the latrine has been completely emptied (elsewhere measured). Backfill existing hole with imported filling in max 150mm layers and compact to 95% MOD AASHTO density. No 3
