Common use of Extraneous Information Clause in Contracts

Extraneous Information. The Bank may, in its discretion, disregard any information on a check presented for payment on your account other than the signature(s) of the drawers, the identification of the drawee bank, the payee, the amount, the date and the information which appears in the MICR line. The Client agrees to be liable for any damages suffered by the Bank as a result of any other information written on the face or back of any check.
