Faculty Members - Special Eligibility. The following faculty members are also eligible to participate in the group insurance program: A. Faculty members with a work related injury/disability. A faculty member who was off the state payroll due to a work related injury or work related disability may continue to participate in the group insurance program as long as such a faculty member receives workers' compensation payments or while the workers’ compensation claim is pending. B. Totally disabled faculty members. Consistent with M.S. 62A.148, certain totally disabled faculty members may continue to participate in the group insurance program.
