Failure to Grieve Clause Samples

The "Failure to Grieve" clause defines the consequences when a party does not file a formal complaint or grievance within a specified time frame regarding a particular issue, such as a workplace dispute or contract interpretation. Typically, this clause sets deadlines for initiating the grievance process and may state that if the deadline is missed, the party forfeits the right to pursue the matter further. Its core practical function is to encourage timely resolution of disputes and prevent parties from raising old issues long after they arise, thereby promoting efficiency and finality in the handling of grievances.
