Failure to Return When Recalled. A laid off teacher shall be considered laid off until he/she is reinstated in the district. Refusal of an offer from the Board of a position for which the laid off teacher is certified and has previously taught, or failure to respond within thirty (30) days of receipt of a written offer of a position made by the Board shall be cause for termination.
