New Hire Orientation. The Union’s Business Representative or designee shall be given the opportunity to make a membership presentation at the employer’s regularly scheduled new employee orientation sessions.
New Hire Orientation. The Hospital agrees to provide fifteen (15) minutes for a 35 representative of the Association to make a presentation during the orientation of new 36 nurses on behalf of the Association for the purpose of identifying the organization’s 1 representational status, facilities, and collecting membership applications. Such time will 2 be a regularly-scheduled part of new employee orientation. It will take place at the 3 Hospital and shall follow the system-wide new employee orientation. The Hospital will 4 notify the Association of the date and time of new employee orientation at least two (2) 5 weeks in advance.
New Hire Orientation. The Local Union shall be granted one (1) hour for a Union Xxxxxxx and a Health and Safety Representative to meet with each newly hired employee for the purpose of orientation. The meeting will usually take place during the transition to Operations phase with groups of employees or in a training facility where the option is available.
New Hire Orientation. Employee Unit Representatives may meet with new hires for a period of up to one‐half (1/2) hour at the end of the Hospital’s orientation. Attendance shall be voluntary and shall be on the unpaid time of the Unit Representative and new hire.
New Hire Orientation. The District shall furnish newly-hired employees covered by this Agreement with a copy of the Agreement. The District will provide each employee with a letter from the Union. The Union may submit for showing at regular District orientations for new unit employees a video not to exceed five (5) minutes in duration. The contents of the video and the letter must meet with District approval. The District shall permit a Union representative up to fifteen (15) minutes (paid time if within the Union representative’s regularly scheduled hours) at the orientation, inclusive of the video, to speak to new employees covered by the agreement.
New Hire Orientation. The Employer shall notify the Union of all new employees hired into the bargaining unit. In accordance with RCW 41.56.037, the Union shall be afforded 30 minutes of the newly-hired employee’s regular working time for purposes of presenting information about Union membership and bargaining representation.
New Hire Orientation.
Section 1. As part of new hire orientation, employees shall receive a copy of the collective bargaining agreement and an introductory letter prepared by the Union approved by the Employer, describing the Union and informing all new hired employees who their Union Stewards are and their departments.
Section 2. A list of all newly hired employees covered by this Collective Bargaining Agreement will be sent to the Union on a monthly basis.
New Hire Orientation. The Hospital agrees to provide a copy of the contract to 33 each nurse as supplied by the Association. The Hospital will provide reasonably in 34 advance to the Association and its officers a calendar of dates and times for new 1 employee orientation for nurses. The Unit Chair or designee may communicate with 2 Human Resources within 24 hours prior to a previously scheduled day of orientation to 3 verify whether there are any new RN hires into bargaining unit positions scheduled to 4 undergo the pending new hire orientation. New RN hires will be provided with an 5 invitation to attend a meeting sponsored by the ONA during time that follows the end of 6 the Hospital’s orientation. The new RN hires will be paid for 15 minutes for this meeting.
