Common use of Fair Share Provision Clause in Contracts

Fair Share Provision. It is agreed that all employees who do not join the Union or remain members in good standing shall be required to pay a fair share fee to the Union as a condition of employment. This provision shall not require any employee to become a member of the Union, nor shall the fair share fee exceed dues paid by members of the Union in the same bargaining unit.
