False or Fraudulent Statements or Claims. The Grantee acknowledges that, should it make a false, fictitious claim, statement, submission, or certification to the State or federal government in connection with this Project, FTA reserves the right to pursue the procedures and impose on the Grantee the penalties of 18 USC §1001, 31 USC §3801, et seq., and/or 49 USC §5307(n)(1), as may be deemed by FTA to be appropriate.
