Common use of FAMILIARIZATION PERIOD ON PROMOTION Clause in Contracts

FAMILIARIZATION PERIOD ON PROMOTION. When promoted, the employee shall be in a familiarization period of one (1) month. At the discretion of the College, the familiarization period may be extended in one (1) month increments for no longer than two (2) additional months. If the employee should find the job unsatisfactory or is unable to meet the job requirements to the satisfaction of the College, the employee shall be returned to his/her former position or to another position with no loss of their former salary.
