Common use of FAMILY / BREASTFEEDING ROOM Clause in Contracts

FAMILY / BREASTFEEDING ROOM. In accordance with 39-2-215-217, MCA, the University supports women who want to continue breastfeeding after returning from maternity leave. The University will designate at least one (1) room for breastfeeding / breast pumping on campus, located in Xxxxxxxx Xxxx. The room will be equipped with lockable door, lighting, electricity, a small refrigerator for the storage of breast milk, and convenient access to a sink with running water. This room will remain open for use during the building’s operating hours. The University will designate a 45-minute parking space adjacent to Xxxxxxxx Xxxx, specifically for nursing mothers to use while breastfeeding / breast pumping. If necessary, faculty will have access to other space suitable for breastfeeding / pumping. The faculty member will inform the department head or supervisor, who shall then be responsible for identifying space suitable for such use in accordance with University policy and state law. University Human Resources and the Office of Institutional Equity shall be considered as a resource for the supervisor in identifying such suitable alternative space.
