Common use of Family Illness or Disability Clause in Contracts

Family Illness or Disability. Up to thirty (30) days, if available, of accumulated sick leave per year may be used when the employee is required to be in attendance or to provide care for a family member as defined in Article 18, Section H. Use of sick leave shall be granted under this provision and be charged against the Family Care Leave entitlement pursuant to Article 18 – Leaves of Absence.
