Family planning services include the following: • Prescription contraceptive drugs or devices; • Coverage for the insertion or removal of contraceptive devices; • Medically Necessary examination associated with the use of contraceptive drugs or devices; and • Voluntary female or male sterilization, including associated anesthesia.
