Common use of Federal and State Claims Clause in Contracts

Federal and State Claims. Such Grantor shall notify the Agent promptly of any of the Collateral which constitutes a claim against the United States government or any instrumentality or agent thereof or any state thereof, the assignment of which claim is restricted by federal law or state law as the case may be. Upon the request of the Agent, such Grantor shall take such steps as may be reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable federal assignment of claims laws or other comparable laws.
