FEDERAL. CERTIFICATIONS Grantee further certifies that, to the extent Federal Certifications are incorporated into the Contract under the Signature Document, the Grantee has reviewed the Federal Certifications and that Grantee is in compliance with all requirements. In addition, Grantee certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations, as they may pertain to this Contract.

CERTIFICATIONS Performing Agency certifies that, to the extent federal certifications are incorporated into the Contract under the Signature Document, the Performing Agency has reviewed the federal certifications and that Performing Agency is in compliance with all requirements. In addition, Performing Agency certifies that it is and shall remain in compliance with all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations, as they may pertain to this Contract.
FEDERAL. Each year the District shall provide to the Network the proportionate share of applicable federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)funding (e.g. Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV or Title V) received by the District for which all Schools are eligible. Schools are eligible for such funds upon approval of their plans for such funds either by the District or the Colorado Department of Education, as required. Funds shall be distributed on a documented expenditure reimbursement basis on a monthly interval as long as the Network provides the District with the required documentation for a School. In order to receive the full share of Federal funding, each School must fully participate in the ESSA requirements as receiving schools for students choosing to leave an underperforming school.
FEDERAL. The United States shall be liable, to the extent allowed by the Federal Tort Claims Act 28 United States Code 2671-2680, for claims of personal injuries or property damage resulting from the negligent or wrongful act or omission of any employee of the United States while acting within the scope of his or her employment, arising out of this Agreement.
FEDERAL. Relating or pursuant to the authority of the federal government of the United States of America.
FEDERAL. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub. L. 88-352; 42 U.S.C. 2000d, et seq.) and implementing regulations issued at 24 CFR Part 1;
FEDERAL. NONDISCRIMINATION
A. Operator understands and acknowledges that the Airport has given to the United States of America, acting by and through the FAA, certain assurances with respect to nondiscrimination, which have been required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Xxx 0000 and by 49 CFR Part 21 as a condition precedent to the Government making grants in aid to the Airport for certain Airport programs and activities, and that Airport is required under those regulations to include in every agreement pursuant to which any person or persons, other than Airport, operates or has the right to operate any facility on SIA providing services to the public, the following covenant, to which Operator agrees:
B. Operator, in its operation at and use of SIA, covenants that:
1. No person on the grounds of race, color, or national origin shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in the use of said facilities;
2. In the construction of any improvements on, over, or under such land and the furnishing of services thereon, no person on the grounds of race, color, or national origin shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination;
3. It shall use the Premises in compliance with all other requirements imposed by or pursuant to 49 CFR Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation Effectuations of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and as that regulation may be amended; and
4. Operator further agrees promptly to provide the Airport, upon written request by the Airport, such information the Airport is required to obtain from Operator to show compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws.
FEDERAL. FIRE AGENCIES shall mean the USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region; the USDI Bureau of Land Management, California Office; the USDI National Park Service, Pacific West Region; USDI Fish and Wildlife Service, Pacific Southwest Region, and USDI Bureau of Indian Affairs, Pacific Region.
