Common use of FEDERAL JURISDICTIONAL AREAS Clause in Contracts

FEDERAL JURISDICTIONAL AREAS. 33.1. Article 1, §8, Clause 17 of the United States Constitution provides the authority to Congress to exercise exclusive jurisdiction over areas and structures used for military purposes (Federal Enclaves). Thus, Telecommunications Services to such Federal Enclaves are not subject to the jurisdiction of the Commission. The Parties agree that Services provided within Federal Enclaves are not within the scope of this Agreement.
