Federal Universal Service Fund Surcharge. The Federal Universal Service Fund Surcharge is a charge shown as a percentage rate and applied by the Company on all invoiced interstate and international charges for services subject to the Universal Service Contribution Factor established by the FCC to support Universal Service programs. The Surcharge, which is identical to the Contribution Factor established by the FCC and revised regularly on a quarterly calendar year basis, may not be waived under any circumstance, is not eligible for discounting or promotions, and is applied to a Customer’s total net interstate and international charges, specifically, the charges remaining after the application of all available discounts and credits.

Federal Universal Service Fund Surcharge. The Federal Universal Service Fund Surcharge (FUSF) is a charge levied by the FCC to promote access to telecommunication services at reasonable rates for those living in rural and high cost- areas, income-eligible consumers, rural healthcare facilities, schools and libraries and is shown as a percentage on all interstate and international charges for service. The Surcharge, is revised regularly on a quarterly calendar year basis, may not be waived under any circumstances, and is not eligible for discounting or promotions. The surcharge is applied to a Customer’s net charges, the charges remaining after the application of all available discounts and credits.

  • UNIVERSAL SERVICE FUND 54.1 In order to collect the costs of CenturyLink’s contribution to the Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) in an equitable manner, CenturyLink’s End Users are charged a Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC). The only customers who are exempt from paying the FUSC to CenturyLink are those reseller CLECs who themselves contribute to the FUSF, or who otherwise qualify for an exemption under the FCC’s universal service rules. In order to obtain an exemption from paying the FUSC to CenturyLink, CLEC must provide CenturyLink a signed statement certifying that it is reselling the services provided by CenturyLink in the form of telecommunications, and will, in fact, contribute directly to the FUSF. If CLEC does not provide this statement, or otherwise certify that it is exempt from remitting the FUSC, CenturyLink must report the revenues obtained from the provision of service to CLEC as End User revenues for purposes of calculating and reporting FUSC contributions, and CenturyLink shall be entitled to recover from CLEC the resulting FUSF contributions attributable to such revenues, in accordance with Applicable Law.

  • PIPELINE SERVICE FUND The Employer shall deduct from each employee covered by this Agreement twenty-five cents ($0.25) for each hour of work earned and remit it monthly to the Pipeline Service Fund.

  • Universal service 1. Each Party has the right to define the kind of universal service obligations it wishes to maintain.

  • Federal Government End Use Provisions We provide the Services, including related software and technology, for ultimate federal government end use solely in accordance with the following: Government technical data and software rights related to the Services include only those rights customarily provided to the public as defined in this Agreement. This customary commercial license is provided in accordance with FAR 12.211 (Technical Data) and FAR 12.212 (Software) and, for Department of Defense transactions, DFAR 252.227-7015 (Technical Data – Commercial Items) and DFAR 227.7202-3 (Rights in Commercial Computer Software or Computer Software Documentation). If a government agency has a need for rights not granted under these terms, it must negotiate with Us to determine if there are acceptable terms for granting those rights, and a mutually acceptable written addendum specifically granting those rights must be included in any applicable agreement.

  • Electrical Service Electrical service for new construction or a renovated existing building shall be 480/277-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire or approved equal. Service shall be sized for HVAC and other mechanical system(s) loads, lighting, general building services, and dedicated computer based office equipment loads. 5 xxxxx per square foot shall be provided for lighting and general service receptacles. Size of neutral conductor of 3- phase circuits shall be twice that of phase conductor to accommodate potential harmonic currents associated with computer system electronic power supplies and fluorescent lighting fixtures electronic ballasts. An adequately sized 3 phase “wye” wound step down transformer shall be provided to supply 208/120-volt, 3 phase power, for lighting, general service receptacles and dedicated computer based office equipment. Dedicated, isolated ground circuits shall be supplied from separate isolated ground power distribution panel(s). Lighting circuits shall be supplied from separate lighting panel(s). Panels shall have 20% spare capacity and be complete with 10% spare breakers of each size, but no less than 1 spare. No more than 4 duplex receptacles shall be connected to any single 20-amp dedicated isolated ground circuit or general service circuit.

  • Civil Service 2.6.1 The Government of National Unity shall also ensure that the National Civil Service, notably at the senior and middle-levels, is representative of the people of Sudan. In so doing, the following principles shall be recognized:-

  • Emergency Medical Services The City’s Fire Department and MedStar (or other entity engaged by the City after the Effective Date) will provide emergency medical services.

  • Hospitality Service Sprint shall provide all blocking, screening, and all other applicable functions available for hospitality lines under tariff.

  • Verizon Retail Telecommunications Service Any Telecommunications Service that Verizon provides at retail to subscribers that are not Telecommunications Carriers. The term “Verizon Retail Telecommunications Service” does not include any Exchange Access service (as defined in Section 3(16) of the Act, 47 U.S.C. § 153(16)) provided by Verizon.

  • Water Service The Purchase Price for the Property shall include all water rights/water shares, if any, that are the legal source for Seller’s current culinary water service and irrigation water service, if any, to the Property. The water rights/water shares will be conveyed or otherwise transferred to Buyer at Closing by applicable deed or legal instruments. The following water rights/water shares, if applicable, are specifically excluded from this sale:
