Common use of Fee for Additive Alternates Clause in Contracts

Fee for Additive Alternates. 5.4.1 The design of alternates within the Owner's total allocated funds for construction will be a Basic Service. 5.4.2 The design of additive alternates, not included in the original project scope, in excess of Fixed Limit of Construction Cost of Construction must be authorized by the Deputy Superintendent, and will be considered supplemental services. 5.4.3 Fees for the design of additive alternates, not included in the original project scope, will be negotiated.
