Common use of Fee for Assignments Clause in Contracts

Fee for Assignments. Lessee, upon payment of a $100.00 fee and prior written consent of Lessor (which shall not be unreasonably withheld), shall have the right to assign the entire leasehold interest of said Xxxxxx in all or part of the land covered hereby. Prior to written approval by Lessor of assignment of this lease, Xxxxxx (assignor) shall not be relieved of its obligations under the terms and conditions herein. An assignment shall not extend the term of this lease.
