Common use of Fees and Taxation Clause in Contracts

Fees and Taxation. 11.1 The Bank shall be entitled in its absolute discretion, without further notice or demand, forthwith to satisfy any obligation of the Bank or the Customer to pay or account for any amounts in respect of any Taxes by selling, realising or otherwise dealing with, in such manner as the Bank in its absolute discretion may determine, all or part of any of the Customer’s property held by the Bank for any purpose in any of its accounts, and to apply the proceeds in reduction of all or part of its liability to any tax authority or the Bank.
