Fees, Payment, and Service Policies. a. The Military Child Care Act requires the Department of Defense to prescribe uniform fee regulations for military Child Development Programs annually. Fees are based on total family income and apply to children attending on a regular basis. Patrons will be placed in the highest fee category until verification of total family income is complete. b. If your family financial status changes and you are unable to provide a leave and earning statement/pay statement you will be placed in the highest category range until one becomes available and your revised fee categorization is completed. d. Full Day program, fees are set to generate revenue to cover 52 weeks of operation. Children of a CYTP full time contract that attend Preschool for Children with a Disability (PSCD) or Sure Start may receive a discounted full time rate when school is in session. For SAC services, two fees apply during the contract year:  Reduced fees for Before only/Before & After/ After only care apply unless school is not in session for an extended break (i.e., winter, spring and summer).  Full day fees are charged when school is not in session for extended breaks. (i.e., xxxxxx, spring and summer). e. There is no reduction of fees for absences or illnesses. Fees are not reduced for absences, holidays or short term emergency closures, i.e., typhoon, air conditioning, water or power outages which require CYTP to close. f. The sponsor agrees to pay CYTP for the services as long as the space is held for the child, whether the space is used or not, except when the two-week non-payment vacation option is used. g. Children absent from CYTP due to a sponsor’s extended TAD/TDY deployment have two options available: (1) Pay in full to hold child’s space or (2) withdraw child from the program and be placed at the top of the waiting list for the first available space upon return. h. Fees are due before services are rendered. Fees not received prior to services being rendered may result in a temporary suspension or cancellation of agreement services. A facility shall not deny admission to or send home a child because of illness unless one or more of the following conditions exists. The patron or other person authorized by the patron shall be notified immediately when a child has a sign or symptom requiring exclusion from the facility, as described below: Scabies, head lice, or other infestation, until 24 hours after documented treatment has been initiated. Tuberculosis, until a health care provider or health official states that the child can attend child care. Impetigo, until 24 hours after documented treatment has been initiated.  The illness has a specified cause that requires exclusion as determined by a health care provider.  The illness limits the child’s comfortable participation in daily activities.  The illness results in a need for greater care than can be provided by the staff without compromising the health and safety of other children.
