Common use of Field Verification Clause in Contracts

Field Verification. Prior to the commencement of the Work, Contractor shall review the Project Site with District in detail and identify the area of the Work, staging areas, connections or interfacing with existing structures and operations, and restrictions on the Work site area. Contractor shall ensure that all forces on the Project Site are instructed about the acceptable working and staging areas and restrictions on use of the site. Contractor, with advance consent of District, shall erect such barriers and devices as are necessary to restrict access within the Work site to authorized areas and to prevent unauthorized access to non-Work areas.
