MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. The goal of this task is to report the benefits resulting from this project by performing measurement and verification (M&V) of fossil fuel consumption and associated GHG reduction. • Enter into agreement with M&V subcontractor per Task 1.9 • Coordinate site visits with the M&V subcontractor at the demonstration site(s) • Develop M&V protocol for pre-installation measurements (and calculations): o Electric, natural gas and/or other fossil fuel consumption and GHG emissions (use appropriate emissions factor from Attachment 8 of the grant solicitation) of the equipment/process/system(s)/sub-system(s) that are to be upgraded and/or replaced and/or modified. o Ensure installation of sub-metering equipment and data loggers for pre/post data analysis. • Prepare and provide a detailed M&V Plan for each project demonstration site to include but not be limited to: o A description of the monitoring equipment and instrumentation which will be used. o A description of the key input parameters and output metrics which will be measured. o A description of the M&V protocol and analysis methods to be employed. o A description of the independent, third-party M&V services to be employed, if applicable. • Perform three months (or shorter period as approved in writing by the CAM) of pre- installation measurements (and calculations) based on the M&V protocol for pre- installation. • Prepare and provide a Pre-Installation M&V Findings Report for the demonstration site that includes M&V protocol, pre-install measurements (and calculations), analysis, and results performed in this task. • Develop M&V protocol for post-installation measurements (and calculations) of: o Electric, natural gas and/or other fossil fuel consumption and GHG emissions (use appropriate emissions factor from Attachment 8 of the grant solicitation) of the equipment/process/system(s)/sub-system(s) that will be upgraded and/or replaced and/or modified • Perform 12 months or two seasons, for seasonal facilities, (or shorter period as approved in writing by the CAM) of post-installation measurements based on M&V protocol for post-installation. • Provide a summary of post-installation M&V progress in Progress Report(s) (see subtask 1.5) which shall include but not be limited to:
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. The amount of Distribution Services the Project delivers will be measured for all purposes under this Agreement based on the Project’s technology using the methodologies and parameters set forth in Appendix X.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. Recipient shall allow independent third-party verification of Project completion and energy savings under terms as may be established by the Trust. Recipient shall work in good faith with the Trust to develop a measurement and verification plan designed to assess the efficiency measures, reduction in greenhouse gas production, and reduction in consumption of electricity achieved by the Project. Recipient shall conduct and cooperate in such auditing and reporting as may be necessary to assess performance of the Project and to provide information as may be necessary or useful for the Program.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. The Project shall be required to undergo ninety (90) days of Measurement and Verification to verify that the Project is operating as intended. Measurement and Verification shall begin when the Project has entered Commercial Operation. Contractor shall provide NYSERDA’s quality assurance contractor with Performance Data through an automated data transfer prior to the quality assurance inspection. Certain Performance Data will be displayed on NYSERDA’s Distributed Energy Resources Integrated Data System Website, as detailed in the Bulk Energy Storage Incentive Program Manual.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. VI.1 The Project Sponsor shall input or upload all project details and documentation to the Xcel Energy online tracking system in order to measure and verify the Demand Savings and Energy Savings that result from the Measures installed as a part of the Project as set forth in the Measurement and Verification Plan found in the Final Application, which is attached hereto as Exhibit B.
VI.2 Within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the Performance Period, the Project Sponsor shall submit the project details and documentation electronically for review and approval to Xcel Energy documenting the Measured Demand Savings and Measured Energy Savings for the Performance Period. If the project details or documentation are deficient, Xcel Energy will provide notice of the deficiency, and the Project Sponsor shall revise and resubmit the project until it is approved by Xcel Energy. Any necessary revisions shall be performed in the time-period specified by Xcel Energy in the notice of deficiency. Xcel Energy may decline to make incentive payments associated with project deficiencies that are not revised as requested by Xcel Energy.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. Recipient shall allow independent third-party verification of Project performance and utilization under terms as may be established by the Trust. Recipient shall work in good faith with the Trust to develop a measurement and verification plan designed to assess the efficacy of the Project. Recipient shall conduct and cooperate in such auditing and reporting as may be necessary to assess performance of the Project and to provide information as may be necessary or useful for the Program.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. (a) Buyer shall measure the amount of Distribution Services that Seller delivers from the Project for all purposes under this Agreement using the methodologies and parameters set forth in Appendix VIII.
(b) Seller shall submit for Buyer’s review a Measurement and Verification Plan, in a format reasonably acceptable to Buyer, in accordance with Appendix VIII. Within sixty (60) days of Buyer’s receipt of the Measurement and Verification Plan, Buyer shall provide Notice to Seller if the Measurement and Verification Plan is not acceptable to Buyer, and identify the inconsistencies with the requirements set forth in Appendix VIII in such Notice. Seller shall resolve such inconsistencies to satisfy the Delivery Condition set forth in Section 2.2(a)(x). If no Notice is provided to Seller within sixty (60) days of Buyer’s receipt of the Measurement and Verification Plan, the Measurement and Verification Plan shall be deemed approved.
(c) Seller shall not make any material modifications to the Measurement and Verification Plan without the prior written consent of Buyer, which consent shall be in Buyer’s reasonable discretion.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. Measurement and verification of the ICAP Credit Amount will be conducted in accordance with the Measurement and Verification Plan. Customer base-line consumption and load reductions will be verified through the applicable measurement and verification provisions in the Measurement and Verification Plan.
MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION. 6.1 For multifamily residential projects, the Market Actor may choose either the Deemed Savings or Measured Savings method of measurement and verification as set forth in the SOP Manual. HTR and single-family residential projects must use deemed savings. If the Market Actor intends to utilize the measured savings either as an alternative, or in addition to the deemed savings option, then a detailed M&V plan must be provided. In these cases the monitoring and measurement of the Energy Savings and Peak Demand Savings that result from the Measures installed as a part of the Project shall be as set forth in the Measurement and Verification Plan which is attached hereto as Exhibit C. The measurement and verification activities shall be performed by the Market Actor.
