Filming Assignments. Employees shall be exclusively assigned to provide public safety for filming companies filming on location within the Santa Xxxxxx City limits. Employees so assigned shall receive overtime compensation for all hours worked under the terms of Section 2.03, with an eight-hour minimum. The City may include administrative overhead costs as charges or fees to the filming company. Such assignments are expressly conditioned upon the filming company agreeing to reimburse the City for all costs relating to the assignment of such employee including, but not limited to, worker's compensation insurance premiums for the purpose set forth in this Section. Employees may volunteer for this assignment by placing their names on an availability list. Assignments will be made from that list on a rotating basis. However, if an insufficient number of sworn personnel are available from that list to serve a particular project, the City may assign any such employees who are willing to work such project. The Department shall supply the necessary two-way radio communication between the employee and the Police Station and transportation from the station to the filming site. Subject to the provisions of this Section, the administration of this program shall be performed by the City at its discretion and this Section shall be promulgated as Police Department rules and regulations. Employees in the classification of Police Officer shall receive a bonus of $50 for each day assigned to movie overtime.

Related to Filming Assignments

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • Housing Assignments The University assigns Licensee to a bed space and does not guarantee specific room types, buildings, communities, or roommates. The University shall have the right to reassign the Licensee to a different bed space without the Licensee’s consent prior to or during the term of the Agreement.

  • Acting Assignment (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, acting assignment means the assignment of an employee on an acting basis to a Postmaster or Senior Assistant position which is at a higher classification level than the position to which he is appointed. An employee will perform the duties of the higher classification level that may be required during the acting assignment in order to be entitled to receive the acting pay.
