Final Deviation Check-In. i. A deviating pilot shall check in with VIPS, or CRS if VIPS is not accessible, and indicate that he is positioned within 100 nautical miles, or at a distance as approved by his ACP, of the airport from which the first revenue flight will depart. This check in must occur as follows:
