Common use of Final Review Clause in Contracts

Final Review. Failing settlement of the grievance at Step 2, the Union may submit it to the Publisher, or his designate, within seven (7) working days from the date of the Company's reply at Step 2. At the Step 3 meeting to discuss the grievance, the employee shall have the assistance of the Union Grievance Committee. Also, other Company representatives, and officials of the Union who are not employees of the Company, may be present at the request of either party. The Publisher, or his designate, shall respond to the grievance within five (5) working days from the date of the Step 3 meeting.

The PublisherVice-presidents, Operations, or his designate, shall respond to the grievance within five (5) working days from the date receipt of the Step 3 meetinggrievance.
