Common use of Final Review Clause in Contracts

Final Review. Failing settlement of the grievance at Step 2, the Union may submit it to the Publisher, or his designate, within seven (7) working days from the date of the Company's reply at Step 2. At the Step 3 meeting to discuss the grievance, the employee shall have the assistance of the Union Grievance Committee. Also, other Company representatives, and officials of the Union who are not employees of the Company, may be present at the request of either party. The Publisher, or his designate, shall respond to the grievance within five (5) working days from the date of the Step 3 meeting.

Final Review. Failing settlement of the grievance at Step 2, the Union may submit it the grievance to the Publisher, or his designate, Human Resources Manager within seven (7) 5 working days from the date of the Company's reply response at Step 2. At the A Step 3 grievance meeting to discuss the grievance, the employee shall have the assistance of the Union Grievance Committee. Also, other Company representatives, and officials of the Union who are not employees of the Company, may be present at the request of either partyconducted as soon as practicable. The Publisher, Human Resources Manager or his designate, his/her designee shall respond to the grievance in writing within five (5) working days from the date Step 3 grievance meeting. Company representatives and Union representatives who are not employees of the Step 3 meetingCompany may be present at the grievance meeting if desired by either party.

At the Step 3 meeting to discuss the grievance, the employee Union shall have be represented by the assistance of the Union Grievance Bargaining Committee. Also, other Company representatives, and officials of the Union who are not employees of the Company, may be present at the request of either party. The PublisherVice-presidents, Operations, or his designate, shall respond to the grievance within five (5) working days from the date receipt of the Step 3 meetinggrievance.
