Common use of Financial Interests/Gifts Clause in Contracts

Financial Interests/Gifts. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 572.051 and 2255.001 and Texas Penal Code Section 36.09, CMR has not given, offered to give, nor intends to give at any time hereafter, any economic opportunity, future employment, gift, loan, gratuity, special discount, trip, favor, or service to a public servant in connection with this Contract. In addition, pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 573 and Section 2254.032, if applicable, CMR certifies that CMR knows of no officer or employee of TFC, nor any relative within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity of an officer or employee of TFC, that has a financial interest in CMR’s company or corporation. CMR further certifies that no partner, corporation, or unincorporated association which employs, retains or contracts with, or which may employ, retain, or contract with any of the above, has a financial interest in any entity with which CMR will be dealing on behalf of TFC.
