Common use of FIRST AID RESPONDERS Clause in Contracts

FIRST AID RESPONDERS. We provide First Aid Responders (also referred to as “Medic”, “EMT” or “Paramedic”) on certain tours in our international destinations with our GradCity brand only. First Aid Responders are trained in basic first aid from an organization such as the American Red Cross. First Aid Responders are there to assist with minor cuts or abrasions. Any major trauma or severe accident will be handled by local emergency personnel. First Aid Responders cannot give medical advice or anticipate complications from an injury (whether the injury is minor or major). Again, the First Aid Responders are trained in, and only provide, basic First Aid. By accepting these terms and conditions, you hereby release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and agree to indemnify SCC, and its owner, officers, directors, and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses which may arise or occur as a result of the first aid provided by the First Aid Responders.
