Common use of FIRST SCHEDULE Clause in Contracts

FIRST SCHEDULE. The amounts set out in the last column of the Second Schedule as the estimated cost of the work and the various components thereof are based solely on the cost of materials and labour and on operational requirements prevailing at the end of the year 1960 and are specified as an indication of the extent of the work and the relative amounts to be expended on each component thereof but otherwise do not impose any limitation on the amount to be expended by the State on the work or on any part thereof for the purposes of this clause.
