Voltage Schedules. Once the Developer has synchronized the Large Generating Facility with the New York State Transmission System, NYISO shall require Developer to operate the Large Generating Facility to produce or absorb reactive power within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria). NYISO’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power in the New York Control Area in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner. NYISO shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide Developer with such schedules in accordance with NYISO procedures, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Developer shall operate the Large Generating Facility to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor at the Point of Interconnection within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria) as directed by the Connecting Transmission Owner’s System Operator or the NYISO. If Developer is unable to maintain the specified voltage or power factor, it shall promptly notify NYISO.

Voltage Schedules. Once the Interconnection Customer has synchronized an Electric Generating Unit with the CAISO Controlled Grid, the CAISO or Participating TO shall require the Interconnection Customer to maintain a voltage schedule by operating the Electric Generating Unit to produce or absorb reactive power within the design limitations of the Electric Generating Unit set forth in Article 9.6.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria). CAISO’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power in the Balancing Authority Area in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner. The Participating TO shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with such schedules at least one (1) day in advance, and the CAISO or Participating TO may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the CAISO Controlled Grid or the Participating TO’s electric system. The Interconnection Customer shall operate the Electric Generating Unit to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor within the design limitations of the Electric Generating Unit set forth in Article

Transmission Provider shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide Interconnection Customer with such schedules at least one (1) Calendar Day in advance, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the Transmission or Distribution System as applicable. Interconnection Customer shall operate the Generating Facility to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor at the Point of Interconnection within the design limitations of the Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.6.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria). If Interconnection Customer is unable to maintain the specified voltage or power factor, it shall promptly notify Transmission Provider’s system operator, or its designated representative.

Distribution Provider’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power interconnected with the Distribution System in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner and consistent with the applicable requirements of the ISO Tariff. Distribution Provider shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide Interconnection Customer with such schedules at least one (1) day in advance, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the Distribution System and Transmission System. Interconnection Customer shall operate the Generating Facility to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor at the Point of Interconnection within the design limitations of the Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.6.1
Voltage Schedules. Once the Interconnection Customer has synchronized the Large Generating Facility to the New England Transmission System, Interconnection Customer shall operate the Large Generating Facility at the direction of System Operator and Interconnecting Transmission Owner in accordance with applicable provisions of the ISO New England Operating Documents, Applicable Reliability Standards, or successor documents, regarding voltage schedules in accordance with such requirements.

NYISO’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power in the New York Control Area in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner. NYISO shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide KIAC with such schedules in accordance with NYISO procedures, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Interconnection Customer shall cause KIAC to operate the Large Generating Facility to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor at the Point of Interconnection within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria) as directed by the Connecting Transmission Owner’s system operator or the NYISO. If KIAC is unable to maintain the specified voltage or power factor, it shall promptly notify NYISO.

Voltage Schedules. Once the Developer has synchronized the Merchant Transmission Facility with the New York State Transmission System, NYISO shall require Developer to operate the Merchant Transmission Facility to transmit reactive power within the design capability of the Merchant Transmission Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria), provided that the voltage at the Point of Interconnection is within the range of 346 kV to 362 kV in accordance with Connecting Transmission Owner’s engineering specification EP- 7000, as amended from time to time. When voltages are outside the range specified by EP-7000 due to conditions beyond the control of Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO, the Developer shall also provide assistance consistent with Good Utility Practice within the full capability of the Merchant Transmission Facility in restoring the voltage at the Point of Interconnection to the normal range as may be directed by the Connecting Transmission Owner or the NYISO. If the Merchant Transmission Facility is unable to provide the requested assistance, or maintain the specified power factor, it shall promptly notify both the Connecting Transmission Owner and the NYISO.
