Common use of Fishing Areas Clause in Contracts

Fishing Areas. (a) The EU shall provide the Seychelles with the geographic coordinates of the area in which Seychelles vessels may operate before the provisional application of this Agreement (b) Seychelles vessels shall be prohibited from using any purse-seine on tuna and tuna-like schools of fish inside the areas within 24 miles of the coasts of the island of Mayotte, measured from the baselines from which territorial waters are measured. (c) Any modification to the fishing areas will be communicated, to the Seychelles authorities, 4 weeks in advance of the modification before entry into force.
