Flexible Day. A. In addition to the other leave days found in this section, each Teacher shall be allowed one flexible day annually without loss in pay. Part-time Teachers shall receive a prorated flexible day based upon full time equivalency. B. A request for this leave shall be submitted electronically to the Principal at least five Teacher work days before the date of the leave. The Teacher will not be required to state a reason for the leave. C. Flexible leave shall not be granted for the following: 1. First or last week of the school year; and 2. The work days before or after winter recess, spring recess, or the Thanksgiving recess. Unused flexible day shall not accumulate but, if unused, may be converted to accumulated sick leave each year.
