Flexible Hours. Upon the request of an employee and the concurrence of the Employer, an employee may work flexible hours on a daily basis so long as the daily hours amount to seven decimal five (7.5).

Flexible Hours. Subject to operational requirements, an employee on day work shall have the right to select and request flexible hours between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m and such request shall not be unreasonably denied.
Flexible Hours. At the request of an employee, the Employer may grant flexible or staggered hours between 07:00 and 18:00. This is subject to operational requirements.

A flexible schedule will have established core hours that are less than eight (8) hours per day when work demands require the presence of the employee. After consultation with the supervisor, the employee’s flexible schedule will allow a flexible period to begin and/or end the workday.
Flexible Hours. (a) Subject to Employer and Union approval, non-shift employees may voluntarily opt for an alternate work schedule which permits them to complete their normal weekly hours of work of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) hours averaged over a four week period. Such alternate schedules shall be posted in the manner prescribed by the Collective Agreement for the regular schedule. (b) All requests and responses under this article shall be in writing, and copied immediately by the Employer to the Union office. (c) Overtime shall be payable for work in excess of their newly scheduled shift(s) or in excess of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) hours averaged over a four (4) week period. (d) Where the employee works a twelve (12) hour shift, the designated meal period shall not be less than forty-five (45) minutes each shift and there shall be two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods per shift. (e) Where more than one employee requests an alternate work schedule (within the same work area) and the Employer is unable to accommodate all requests, seniority shall prevail. (f) Unless mutually agreed between the Employer and Union, alternate work schedules shall not be permitted where it results in an increased workload or a scheduling change for other employees. (g) The Employer or the employee may cancel an alternate work schedule on reasonable grounds by giving at least four weeks notice. (h) The employee shall not earn shift differentials or week-end premiums that she would not otherwise receive under her regular schedule.

Flexible Hours. Employees may request flexible hours of work for purposes of childcare arrangements / responsibilities. The Employer will consider such request and may grant it at the Employer’s sole discretion.
Flexible Hours. Subject to operational requirements, employees shall have the opportunity to participate in flexible hours arrangements under the following conditions: (a) Up to two (2) additional regular hours per day may be worked at the discretion of the employee in consultation with the supervisor. The resultant surplus time may be banked up to the equivalent of two blocks of normal daily hours which may be scheduled as time off upon mutual agreement within the monthly pay period. (b) The employee shall keep daily records of his/her actual working times and submit the record to their supervisor at the end of each month. (c) There shall be no split shifts. (d) No employee shall be required to utilize flexible hours in place of callout or scheduled overtime. (e) Statutory holidays, sick leave, vacations and other paid leaves shall be based upon normal daily hours.
