Common use of FOB Destination Clause in Contracts

FOB Destination. Title changes hand from Vendor to purchaser at the destination point of the shipment; Vendor owns commodity in transit and files any claims, and Vendor pays all freight and any related transportation charges. A solicitation may request Vendors to separately identify freight charges in its bid, but no amount or charge not included as part of the total bid price will be paid.
