Common use of Force Account Clause in Contracts

Force Account. Works which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing US$1,200,000 equivalent or less in the aggregate, may, with the Bank’s prior agreement, be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of said paragraph of the Guidelines.
